For a while now I have been obsessed with the company Olympia Le Tan. Believe it or not they make clutches and handbags. Those milk cartons aren't milk cartons, they are handbags. Also those books aren't books, they are clutches. Ok so now do you see why I am obsessed with Olympia Le Tan? The only down side is that the bags and clutches are quite pricy. Still their stuff is creative and like nothing else out there. I just can't seem to get over how incredible the milk box bags are!

This post is a tribute to Stephen Jones. He is the most amazing milliner. He is more an artist than a milliner. His hats are art that take you to whole different place. A place where people wear art on their heads and feel proud. His hats seem so magical and have a certain air to them (if that makes sense). I wouldn't know the first thing about making hats but when you look at the hats he magically makes, you know that it has to be hard to make them. He has also had a lot of his work on runways, from Marc Jacobs shows to Cristian Dior shows. Oh well I will stop talking, the hats say enough. Enjoy!

Sorry I haven't posted recently. I have been caught up with school work and just haven't found the time to blog. : ( Lately I have really loved kaleidoscope vibe pieces. I really like the idea of different colors and shapes in a pattern that looks too complicated to figure out. I also really love the idea of mirroring an image to make a print because it just looks so pretty. So of course with this whole vibe, my mind went straight to Alexander McQueen. Who wouldn't remember the amazing prints and shapes in his SS10 collection? I hope you can sort of understand how I am linking Alexander McQueen prints to a kaleidoscope. I guess the point I am trying to make is I really love these kinds of pieces and wish there would be more like them. I hope this post was inspiring and not boring but I just am really digging the vibes and I hope you are too.

From the left: colorful ombre hair, Zana Bayne 3 wing harness, Jeffrey Campbell spike litas, Rodarte for target sequin skeleton dress, Proenza schouler
Mood board!!!! I guess this describes what I am really into at the moment. I like neon colors and cool kaleidoscope vibe pieces, but at the same time I also like Rodarte for target ribcage dresses, spiked litas, winged harnesses, and colorful ombre hair. Oh, might I ever get over the Rodarte for target sequin skeleton dress?

I guess I am really excited for Halloween, I mean who doesn't like to dress up and receive free candy? I am too excited to put up an interesting post since there will be too many to even count, after Halloween. Well, in honor of this wonderful holiday, here is a picture of some odd pumpkins!

Sigh.... Rodarte. I can't help but talk about Rodarte spring 2012... I am in LOVE. The whole collection was very different but true to what Rodarte is known for, which makes my admiration for Kate and Laura Mulleavy grow. The collection felt so erie and sleepy in a dream state. From the sea foam and yellow mustard dresses to the BEAUTIFUL prints of Vincent Van Gogh's paintings, it was a very refreshing collection for spring. Sadly I wasn't there in person to see it. :(
(insert weird sounds of awe here).....the prints are gorgeous!!
The colors all complement each other really well and leave a light spring feel to the collection. Why didn't I realize that sea foam and oak are perfect together? Their inspiration from Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night and Sleeping Beauty resulted in a beautiful inspiring collection. The last dress in the second set is my favorite..... eek so pretty!!!

I used polyvore for the first time!!!!
Proenza Schouler v neck long sleeve shirt, Rodarte vintage slip, Rodarte draped skirt, Circular sunglasses, rodarte x opening ceremony A/W 2011 shoes
With the polyvore set I was going for a Wizard of Oz meets prairie child vibe. I tried to create the vibe with the beautiful Rodarte wheat field skirt and the more modern interpretation of ruby red slipper from The Wizard of Oz. The Proenza Schouler sweater just felt like it belonged and the red glasses also just felt right. I feel so proud!!!! Polyvore was so easy to use and fun to create online mood boards.

I had a dream last night where I owned......
Ever since Belle got these epic shoes and awesome harness I have wanted them really badly. Sadly they aren't in my budget (budget: $0). But they are both really genius and there is still Christmas. I guess I will wait... sigh. If you didn't know, and you probably shouldn't have known, I am NOT a master of patience.
